LET'S CHAT A BIT
Here's me!
I was born and raised in Emporia, went to Emporia State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music with my concentration being Piano Pedagogy.

I started learning the piano when I was about 8 years old. Playing the piano has given me so much joy in my life. It has helped me learn a lot about myself and continues to be a joy to myself and my family.

Some of my favorites to play are Christmas songs and tunes sung by 1950's singers. I also enjoy classical music and movie soundtracks. There's so many great pieces of music to choose from!

I have been teaching for about 8 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I still live in Emporia with my husband and almost two-year-old son. I love to read, cook, and give my baby lots of kisses. I look forward to working with your child as he/she learns how to play the piano.
IN EACH LESSON...
WE LEARN MUSIC
We learn music theory, rhythm, sight-playing and so much more!
WE GAIN CONFIDENCE
By playing in front of a teacher the student can learn to express themselves in a safe environment - we also do this for our peers in group lessons/recitals!
WE HAVE FUN!
I try to keep lessons upbeat and fun for each student. Usually there's TONS of giggles involved!
